I wonder about that Jim. I’m looking to build either the EttCM motor or Tinman’s torque force motor to spin a 3 phase washing machine motor as a generator and either using one of those phase windings to power that as a second motor or adding another winding on top of an existing winding for that. At least a 2 phase generator, maybe 3.

Since these are pulse motors, I would also like to incorporate the technique described in the Energy gained from collapsing magnetic fields thread.

Using several techniques together may be the way forward.
