Police, soldiers, firemen, Secret Service, EMS and even UPS. They all have one thing in common. Hot threads. If you are wondering how to project this image, take stock of yourself, your clothes, and the way you carry yourself. Do you look dependable? Do you have the right haircut? Are you dry but courteous with your speech? What kind of car do you drive? Do you watch the right movies? Are you ready to join a stakeout? Or, are you up for taking out some snipers? It's well documented that the ladies love a man in uniform. Who could forget the sultry charms of Richard Gere in an "Officer and a Gentleman"?

Of course it can be a little awkward explaining to people you know at the pub why you are dressed like an army colonel or impersonating a cop, so you may have to tone it down a bit. Start with some Covert Khaki Pants, the kind a plain clothes detective might have on. Look at some nice mellow professional Polo's and a good Tactical Station Hoodie. Get the right watch. Ask your cop friends what works for them. And always get the shoes right. Again, ask you cop friends where they shop.

If your operation is "off the books" and you need the gear that can pull women, or if you’re really just looking for some quality clothing that the police and such happen to sport as well, you need to be a little smart. Do your re con and check out what's on the net by Googling 'tactical gear'
