Be A Mooker!
When you write for Mooker.Com your are working with an Article Directory that understands and cares. We not only allow affiliate linkage, we encourage it. This one important factor is the reason that you will want to submit all your articles through Mooker. In short, Mooker gets you paid. There are rules however. These rules exist to insure a quality user experience. The primary rule is that you the author have to know how to finesse your links before you write them into your articles
When you are searching the Internet you do not want to waste your time navigating through a jungle of ads that in no way relate to what you are looking for. Neither do our users. They will not object to however, a single meaningful commercial offering that just happens to be cleverly placed, and just happens to blend in well with the overall content and theme of the material they are perusing.
The purpose of this article is to teach you the very important skill of working your "pay day" links into the content of your submissions. The first step in this process is to learn the key words and concepts that drive the magic; they are: "consideration for relevancy", "discretion" and "distinction", "adeptness", "adroitness", "artfulness", along with "delicacy", "diplomacy", and "discernment". You get the idea, no?
The words used during this step are to help you develop a sense of being on target. A good author is crafty. He doesn't just paste links in, he finesses them. He shades them, he feathers them, he uses "dash and class". The very best author uses cunning, sophistication, subtlety and savoir-faire.
Let's look at a good example. Assume that you have a book you want to promote. Your article might consist of a review of that book and look something like this:
"The Adventures of Tom Sawyer - By: Mark Twain"
"Tom Sawyer is unforgettable and he squirms right into a person's imagination and heart. I was laughing out loud at his exploits and throughout it all I could truly identify with the rascal's young romance with Becky Thatcher. This American classic is worth reading and re-reading. This books shows the joy of childhood and it shows us the mastery of its author, Mark Twain. Share this book with your children. They'll like Tom, too. (Oh, yeah, I forgot - it is a children's book, isn't it? I told you your kids would like the book.)"
OK, notice what we did. We took a small section of the review that we thought is powerful and compelling "American classic is worth reading and re-reading", and we made a hyperlink out of that string of text. Of course that link is an affiliate link to amazon where as you would expect is where your impressed reader can conveniently buy the very book. What we have done here is A) create a mood, B) stimulate a desire, and C) provide a smooth and easy way for the reader to satisfy that desire. It is as simple as that.
Now, for the technical magic. When you do affiliate marketing with Amazon they will provide you with links, both image based and text. Research has indicated that at the present time text links convert best. So, after you open your account with Amazon you will follow the instructions on how to get your text link. When you get it, the text will be something that they wrote, not something that you want in your article. You need to get good at editing those links so that the text conforms to what you want to say while keeping the rest of the HTML code intact. You do want the link to work. Doing this can take a little practice, but you should quickly be able to learn how to do this. If you have trouble with this e-mail us.
Here is another quick example of how to work a text link into your article. It uses a list format style and is one of my favorite methods:
"How To Meet And Date The Woman Of Your Dreams"
Follow these 6 steps to realize your goal of meeting your dream girl:
1) Always look your best...
2) Invest in a good wardrobe and regularly use quality grooming products...
3) Develop a good sense of humor...
4) Go out and get yourself a trendy watch and a really good pair of cufflinks.
5) Stand up straight. Keep your hands out of your pockets. Maintain appropriate eye contact, and do not talk about yourself too much.
6) Make sure that you shine your shoes whenever you go out...
The above method is very powerful because the link is embedded within a command statement that the author was making. If the reader is taking the advice seriously he may very well go on and click that link because of the mental state he could find himself in at the time he is reading it. Whatever you do, don't over do it with the links. More than one dilutes the power of your system because it creates choices and choices cause indecision. Indecision causes delay. This trick works best when you make your link the second to last choice or just above that.
Clickbank Products
Clickbank is a great moneymaker. It could be the highest paying program out there, and joining up is free. There are thousand of Clickbank products that you can sell and new ones are coming out all the time. It is extremely easy to work your Clickbank links into your article copy. One really good way is to furnish the reader with a really compelling story of your own that contains a rather surprising passage that you know would likely stimulate a predictable human emotion within the reader (such as shock or greed), then place your link right in the "sweet spot" which is of course the sentence that contains the surprising verbiage. Here is how it looks in action:
" A Tennis Story"
" Yes I have a friend. I'll call him Jim. Jim likes tennis. You can say that tennis is his hobby, except that for Jim tennis is a little bit more than just a hobby because only just today I found out that my friend Jim, they guy who throws nickels around like they're man hole covers earns a six-figure income betting on professional tennis matches and has not worked a real job in over twelve years! So the question is, how does he do it..."
This is powerful stuff, and what makes it work so well is how the offering matches up with the content of the article. It blends in seamlessly with the rest of the story and from the point of view of the reader, it just hits the spot.
Feel free to click the above links and see for yourself how the product offerings might just fit the mood and the mindset of the reader who has been led along by the crafty writer. So now you know the secret. Use it well!
