The new Disney movie Hatching Pete is due to premiere April 24, 2009 on the Disney Channel. This new movie, directed by Stuart Gillard,  should be a treat for the younger generation of Disney watchers. Disney has been running many advertisements announcing the release of Hatching Pete, and it appears that even older generations may enjoy the movie.

The Internet movie database http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1222818/  has a synopsis which reads: "The movie is a battle of boy he named Poole, (Michael Musso), who becomes his school's mascot. He comes from a long line of mascots in his family, but it turns out that he can't do it because he's allergic to the costume. So his shy best friend, Pete (Jason Dolley), does it for him. But when Poole starts becoming popular for being the mascot, and people don't know that it's really Pete, trouble starts between the friends."

whether you have children or not, this might be a feature presentation the whole family may enjoy.
