If you're an online marketer, don't underestimate the power of audio. The average surfer loves to listen and most times prefers listening over reading. If you have the ability to create a nice landing page, your monetary results may be amplified by taking advantage of the power of audio.

Inserting an audio presentation into a webpage is easy if you have the right tools. There are free methods using direct HTML code which will properly display an audio presentation but some browsers require additional plug-ins in order to view the presentation. And if you're paying for traffic, the last thing you want to do is lose out on possible hits because your scripting is incompatible with the user's browser.

A better way to display your audio presentation on your landing page is to use an MP3 to flash conversion program. I have yet to find a good free version but the price charged for a commercial version is well worth the money and will pay itself back in time. Once you locate an MP3 to flash conversion program, you will be able to make audio presentations which are visible in all browsers and even have the ability to make custom control buttons.

When making your audio presentation, it is usually best to set the recording not to repeat as readers usually do not like the exact same speech repeating. If you are including an audio presentation on a website which receives many returning visitors, you probably want to program the flash recording to only play if the reader presses the play button. But if you are making a landing page which incorporates audio, you may want to have the audio play automatically every time the page loads.

Your audio presentation does not have to be professional and your voice does not need to sound like the newscasters. When potential customers search for recommendations, they usually prefer a personal review rather than a professional report. They want to know if other regular users found success with the product. So your goal is to sound reliable, unbiased, and portray yourself as a regular consumer.

In order to make an audio presentation, all you need are two things. A microphone and a program to record with. I suggest spending the extra few dollars and buying a quality microphone over the standard five dollar headset. A quality microphone will offer advantages and your recording quality will be optimal. Once you have your microphone hooked up you could record with a free program called audacity which is equipped with user-friendly yet powerful audio options which will make your recording sound supreme.
